in todays lesson we went in the dark room for the first time and steve gave us a short tour and showed us what lights do what and how to set up the camera on a stand so that we could take pictures from a birds eye view. you have to make sure you are aware of your surroundings because you could fall off the ladder, trip over or bang your head. To be sure you don't fall off the ladder you should ask someone to hold it still.

We did some practice stop motion animations so that when it come to making our own we know what to do and wont have to keep asking for help.the first one we did was geroge lying on the floor with a blue sheet on the lower half of his body wich was meant to represent the sea, there was a big red sheet for back ground colour so it didnt look boring and a yellow sheet rolled up to look like a sun in the corner. George had to move his arms and and body to make it look like he was swimming. the red back ground sheet and the blue sheet kept moving so to prevent it two people healed the blue sheet just above George and two other people sat on the edges of the red one. when we got the hang of things it was quite easy to do.the second one we did was dylan on his skate bored going down a ramp. we used a brown/orange sheets as the ramp and a real skate bored then on every picture we taken we had to move the skate bored and dylan had to make very small movemenths. it was quite hard to do this because every time dylan moved the sheets he was lying on kept moving with him so to resove this four people sat on each corner of the sheet so that when he did move the sheet didnt.
